2015 Dodge Charger reveal
The New York Auto show is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for vehicle-enthusiasts. The show is typically a hotbed for auto news, revelations and surprises including new model displays and state-of-the-art technology that is being incorporated into our lives through our daily commute.
This year’s show has a focus on the introduction of significant 2015 models and takes place in New York City and runs through April 27.
While there are bound to be a number or surprises and news-worthy items to discuss, we came up with a list of New York auto show highlights thus far, including the highly-anticipated 2015 Dodge Charger reveal, that should get you up to speed with the biggest auto event of the year.
The 2015 Charger was revealed this week showing off its dramatically reworked body and interior. The vehicle has gives off a very different vibe, but in a good way. The blacked-out grille and headlights are thinner, the front bumper was redone to include LED running lights and the hood was redesigned.
The back end of the vehicle includes a racetrack of LED lights, similar to the 2014 version of the model, which is available now at Great West Chrysler in Edmonton. The 2015 Charger exterior gives off an aura of sophistication and attitude, and the changes weren’t lost in the interior either.
The gauge control center was redesigned to include a 7-inch screen in the gauge collection with an 8.4-inch touchscreen in the center stack. The eight-speed transmission and 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine allow the vehicle to significantly save on fuel economy. The 2015 Charger will be available to consumers later this year.
Another highly anticipated reveal at the New York Auto show is the 2015 Dodge Challenger. This model has not yet been revealed, but it is expected to come out to play later today (Thursday). The 2015 Dodge Charger and the 2015 Dodge Challenger have a lot riding on their 2014-2015 sales, as Dodge is expecting these two vehicles to improve the overall status of the company.
