2015 New York Auto Show
The New York Auto Show is one of the most anticipated auto events of the year. With lots of flashy cars, unbelievable technology and at least one or two celebrities, the show is a great attraction for those of all ages, whether or not they’re keeping up with the latest auto news.
In case you missed the 2014 New York Auto Show, which closed April 26, here are a few of the highlights: (The dates for the 2015 New York Auto Show have not yet been announced)
2015 Jeep Renegade revealed
Jeep revealed a whole new side of the company with the release of the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade. The Renegade is a compact SUV, a first for Jeep. The Renegade features the handling of a Wrangler for the Jeep purists, and the luxuries of a high-end SUV. Updated technology is also included in the 2015 Renegade.
2015 Dodge Charger, Challenger revealed
The Scat Pack is back and better than ever. Dodge revealed the redesigned 2015 Dodge Charger, which is a less intimidating version of the 2014 model. Again, technology has been updated and the re-design is meant to be appealing to a larger variety of drivers. The 2015 Challenger is a nod to the retro 1970’s model with its vintage styling and interior. Although the car may LOOK like it’s from the 70’s, it acts as if its a vehicle of the future.
Honda ASIMO robot updated
After being in production for more than 10 years, Honda’s humanoid robot is closer to mass production than ever before. ASIMO is talented enough to run, pour and serve drinks, recognize faces and even have a conversation. It is unknown when this robot will be available for purchase by the average human being, but Honda is making waves in ways it hasn’t before.
2015 Toyota Camry revealed
One of Toyota’s best-selling vehicles was revamped for 2015 to show off a more modern design with smooth lines, LED headlights and an unbelievably updated interior. The new Camry is a little roomier without giving up Toyota’s reliability. More notably, the Camry will feature a wireless charging station within the vehicle for heavy smartphone users.
2015 Ford Mustang revealed
It was an extremely limited edition that was revealed at the New York Auto Show, which payed homage to the model’s 50th birthday. But, the standard 2015 model is guaranteed to be just as amazing. The 2015 Mustang is one of the most anticipated vehicles on the market this year, and it isn’t even released yet.
