Getting crafty is easy during the fall. There is an abundance of inspiration, a plethora of tools and, with a bit of time and patience, endless
opportunities. There are a number of crafts you can create during the fall, and especially crafts using leaves. Leaves are all around in the Fall, on the ground, on the trees, in your car if they get dragged in. We love being crafty and think it’s also a great opportunity to spend time with your families and do something creative and out of the ordinary.
There are a number of crafts using leaves that you can create this Fall before it’s too late! See below for some of our favorite ideas.
This is a super easy idea and takes very little time to make something wonderful. All you need is some glue, leaves and a piece of paper. You can make any shape or any object you want, the key it just to use as many leaves as possible to cover up any of the paper underneath.
Easily make a mobile with a hanger, some leaves and some string. Leaves are great fall decor for any room and a mobile, or basically any hanging piece of wall art, is great for the season. An easy way to preserve the leaves and get them to be a great shape is to laminate them. Attach some string and attach that to a hanger or any other piece of material and you’ve got an easy way to set the mood for Fall.
This craft is a little more depth, but it’s really cool when it pays off. To make a stained glass piece of leaf art, find a bunch of leaves, the thinner the better. Then piece them together on a sheet of laminating paper so there are no spaces. Laminate the page, cut it out in whatever shape you want and you can even add construction paper around the edges for a frame. Then hang it or put it in a window and let the sun emphasize the beautiful colors of fall.
