4 Spring cleaning tips for your car
It’s that time of year once again. We’ve had a ridiculously mild winter (assuming we don’t get dumped on for May long weekend, which is possible), and I think it’s safe to say that spring is here and summer is just around the corner (crosses fingers).
With the season change comes a change of your vehicle. It’s about that time to bring out that 2016 Challenger, or that 2015 Evo. But if you’re a little slow on the uptick and haven’t already made the switch, it’s time to transform your vehicle to that sturdy, reliable winter beast, to that sleek, slimmed down sexy summer beast.
Shed that winter wait, and bring out your summer bod. It’s time to get your car ready for summer! Here’s how:
Pretty self-explanatory. Get those winter tires off. Now!
This one is not so obvious. If you’ve got a set of heavy duty winter wipers (which you should), then swap them out from a slimmer, more streamlined pair. You won’t regret it.
#3 SPRING CLEANING
Wash it. Inside. Outside. Underneath. Everywhere. Do it thoroughly, and then do it again. Your car can’t be too clean, trust me. (Don’t trust me, I am not a scientist and do not know whether or not a car can actually be too clean.)
#4 SYSTEMS CHECK
The final step you need to take so your car reaches its ultimate (final?) form. Make sure that everything works the way it’s supposed to work. Check your brakes, fluids (oil, transmission, Vanilla Coke in your cup holder, etc…). Seriously. Make sure it’s all good because if not your drive would be anything but all good (am I saying all good too much?).
So there you go. Follow these easy steps and your car will be shinning like a…. well a shiny car? Yeah, that’s probably what it should look like right? Anyway, like I was saying, do these 4 things and you will not regret it. Your car will look cleaner, run smoother, and just be all that much more enjoyable to drive.
