Never one to rest on their laurels, Ram has made some big changes for 2019, especially with the all-new Ram 1500, but the ProMaster vans have also seen some upgrades as well. The redesign of the 2019 Ram 1500 is a winner right out of the gate, already taking home the illustrious MotorTrend “Truck of the Year” honour. Alberta is a large truck market, and the all-new Ram 1500 makes it clear why it deserves to be your only choice to tackle both city and country roads. The crosshair grille is no more, but instead adopting a choice of grille options that are still very much Ram, and created in a new-age design. The truck is lighter than before (17% less than the previous), but doesn’t skimp out on any of its strength, increasing its towing capacity to 5,783 kg and its payload capacity to 1,052 kg. Over a variety of trim levels from the Tradesman to the Big Horn to the Laramie to the Limited, there’s a variant that will get you what you need most out of this multifaceted truck. Maintaining all that makes the Ram 1500 so great, while redesigning it for the new year, the 1500 is better than ever before in 2019!
Some think Ram only sells their top level trucks, highlighted by the Ram 1500, and while it may be the main focus of the brand, they also offer a set of heavy-duty vans that are perfect for any commercial business. For 2019, the ProMaster vans have not only been upgraded to look better but also to haul more. The front-end of the van has been overhauled with a fresh new grille design that, like the new Ram 1500, does away with the crosshair grille. As well, there’s new side-panel options, along with new black bumpers and the ability to have steel black wheels. The payload and towing capacities have increased, for even more utility, with 4,680 lbs and 6,800 lbs, respectively. The Ram ProMaster City only sees a change of its front end for 2019.
