The Dodge performance cars have seen the biggest changes for the new year. The Dodge Challenger sees the welcoming of the Hellcat Redeye, a high-level performance model that pumps out a top level 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque from its 6.2L HEMI V8 engine. All of the Hellcats received a new dual-snorkel hood, as well as additional performance upgrades on a selection of the trims, including such features as SRT Drive Modes, performance suspension, wheels and exterior modifications. With the Dodge Charger, some upgrades have been made to the R/T Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat trims, with everything from a new grille, wheels badging and engine assists like Torque Reserve and Launch Assist. If you’re performance-driven, Dodge in 2019 is the brand for you.
Dodge SUVs and Minivans
Both the Journey and Durango and have seen trim changes across their lineup for 2019. While the Journey has seen a consolidation of their trims, new additions include a Black Appearance package and three-zone temperature control, among others. The Durango SRT provides two-piece Brembo brakes and a Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio system. The GT improves the hood with a more performance-styled hood. The Dodge Grand Caravan is being carried over without any changes from the previous year. Its low-price option has been a mainstay on the minivan market for years, so you already know the quality you’ll be receiving with this storied minivan.
