Best-in-Class Towing Capability
Built on an iconic badge, the 2022 Wagoneer has best in class capability rooted in its heritage with such systems as Towing Capability, Quadra-Trac II 4x4, Selec-Terrain Traction Management, Quadra-Drive II 4x4, and Advanced All-Terrain Group.
Under the hood of the all-new 2022 Wagoneer lies a very potent and highly capable V8 engine with fuel saver technology, generating 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque and offering a best-in-class towing capability of 10,000lbs when equipped with the available heavy-duty trailer tow package. This HD package not only provides best-in-class towing capability but also includes an integrated brake controller, electronic limited-slip differential, heavy-duty engine cooling, hitch line-up assist, front and rear tow hooks, and so much more.
Quadra-Trac II 4x4 System
When additional traction is needed, the Quadra-Trac II 4x4 System kicks into the transfer torque (up to 100%) for optimal on and off-road performance. It works in part with the brake lock differential and four-wheel traction control systems to help get out of sticky situations. Some of the highlighted features include a two-speed transfer case, a four-wheel low mode designed for low-speed power, five various drive modes for different weather conditions, and natural mode capability.
Selec-Terrain Traction Management System
When traction is required in various weather conditions, the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System is right at your fingertips, ready to put your mind at ease for the drive ahead. Drivers have the option to choose from up to five modes for optimum on and off-road 4x4 performance. Modes include Rock, Sand/Mud, Snow, Auto, and Sport.
Advanced All-Terrain Group
Legendary off-road prowess is built into Wagoneer DNA, and the 2022 Wagoneer displays that with the Quadra-Drive II 4x4 System. This system coupled with rear electronic limited-slip differential makes off-roading a breeze even for the novice of drivers. The Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system is a full-time 4x4 system, meaning it is always active and ready to produce results instantaneously. A proactive system can anticipate low traction situations and adjust accordingly to either limit or eliminate slip.
Quadra-Drive II 4x4 System
Wearing the Wagoneer badge comes with an overwhelming amount of respect, especially with the off-road crowd. The 2022 Wagoneer wears that badge, proudly highlighting its cutting-edge off-road features with the available Advanced All-Terrain Group. With two different Advance All-Terrain Group (AM2) options (one for the Wagoneer Series II and one for the Wagoneer Series III), the advanced package puts a significant number of goodies in the hands of Wagoneer owners allowing them to take the road less traveled. Some of the highlighted features of the Advance All-Terrain Group include All-terrain tires, aluminum off-road wheels, four different skid plates to protect the underbody, bright tow hooks, electronic limited-slip rear differential, and quadra-drive II transfer case with 4x4.
