Safety Features
360-Degree Surround View Camera
As a standard feature on the Touring-L, Limited, and Pinnacle trim levels, the Pacifica can have four cameras placed around the outside that provide a clear 360-degree view onto the 10.1-inch touchscreen. With this helpful feature, the driver can benefit from having enhanced visibility of the surroundings while parking or manoeuvring around a tight space.
Forward Collision Warning
While commuting around town, the standard FCW system monitors traffic ahead and helps prevent a frontal collision by using audible and visual alerts to warn the driver. If the driver approaches another vehicle ahead too quickly and fails to take proper action, the system could automatically apply the brakes to bring the Pacifica to a complete stop.
Parallel & Perpendicular Park Assist
Parking has never been easier since the 2022 Pacifica has an available Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, which can guide the driver into a parking space to achieve perfect parking every time. This advanced feature requires driver input for activation, and it works on either side of the minivan. The driver controls the gear selector, accelerator, and brakes while the vehicle takes control of steering.
Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking
The PAEB is one of many safety features available for the 2022 Pacifica, utilizing advanced technology to improve driving safety. This safety feature detects pedestrians in the forward path of driving, and it automatically applies the brakes to avoid a collision if driver input is insufficient.
