New Next-Gen Uconnect 5:
The new Uconnect 5 infotainment system has an improved processor, screen resolution, and other features that make it easy to use. You can now connect multiple devices via Bluetooth and set up customized profiles for each user. The Uconnect 5 system can support up to five profiles, allowing each to choose their favourite apps, set individual comfort settings, display the correct instrument cluster, etc. It comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen for models like the Sport and North. You can use your voice and everyday phrases to find gas stations or other destinations in navigation. In addition, you can even have it control vehicle features such as starting the car, locking and unlocking doors, and playing some of your favourite songs without taking your eyes off the road. The Dual-Phone Connectivity feature allows a second user to share the priority of features such as music, navigation, and other features so that they can be your copilot. The new design adds climate control for the backseat, thanks to having vents for heating, air conditioning, and ventilation. For those who want a more immersive experience, the available 10.1-inch touchscreen uses Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to help you stay connected. This larger screen comes standard on both the Trailhawk and Limited Compass models, while the North trim can be upgraded to the 10.1-inch screen as an available option. In addition, both screen sizes come with SiriusXM Guardian for added safety and convenience features. You can also take advantage of your at-home Alexa-enabled devices with the Uconnect 5 system, which can help start the car or unlock the doors from inside your home.
Digital Cluster Display:
You can opt for the available 10.25-inch Driver Information Display in place of a traditional instrument cluster. This full-colour screen can show you driver information such as speed, temperatures, navigation, and other key driver information that can be customized to your preferences. It takes the place of a standard instrument cluster, and you can switch between the different screens by using the steering-wheel-mounted controls.
Wireless Charger & Front USB:
You can use the available wireless charger to keep phones charged without cord clutter for compatible devices. Models like the Trailhawk Elite come equipped with a wireless charger as a standard option. There are also five USB ports in the front and second-row to ensure that everyone can stay connected.
